Two businesses can both need a five page site and still need very different amounts of work, such as 10 photos or 200, or a booking diary that is simple or complicated. The "from" price is the smallest realistic project of that type. After a free call you get a fixed quote, and that number does not change unless you ask for more.

No. You can take the site and host it somewhere else yourself. Most people choose a plan because backups, security updates and someone to call when something breaks are worth more than the monthly cost. If you skip it, edits are charged at the hourly rate listed above.

Photography, logo design and large amounts of writing are not part of the base price. I can help with writing (see Extras), and I will point you to someone good for photos or a logo. Domain registration and payment provider fees are paid by you at cost.

A round is one batch of feedback, for example "change the colours, swap these photos and reword the home page". I make all of it and send it back. The included rounds are listed on each package. After that, changes are quoted first.

Your business name, what you offer, any logo or photos you already have and a rough idea of what you like. Do not worry if you have none of it. I will ask simple questions on the call and can start from there.

The time for each package is listed above. The biggest delay is usually waiting for content, so the sooner you send your text and photos, the sooner you are live.

Yes. Larger projects can be split into three payments: a third to start, a third when you approve the design and a third at launch. Care plans are monthly anyway.

Tell me and I will quote just that, whether it is a fix, one new page or a booking form on an existing site. Small jobs are charged hourly or at a fixed price, whichever is lower.

If it is a mistake in my work, or something that does not match what we agreed, I fix it free of charge and it never uses up your edit time. New requests and changes are quoted first, so you always know the cost before I start.

You see a working version before you pay the second half and you tell me what to change. If it still is not right after the included rounds, we talk and sort it out. If I cannot deliver what we agreed, your deposit is returned.
